Gittinger Wedding | CW Hill Country Ranch Wedding Venue | Boerne, TX
February 15, 2018
You know that wonderful feeling you get when you immediately just know you're going to click with someone? Or that feeling where you just know that you're going to have a fantastic experience working alongside someone? Those are the exact feelings I had from day one with Haley & Trevor (Now Mr. & Mrs. Gittinger!!!!!) who are celebrating their first Valentine's Day as husband and wife! And it's not even just Haley and Trevor, their families and friends all were a total joy to be around. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel more like a guest than just their photographer! And that's a total dream!
I kicked off my 2018 wedding season with these two at the beautiful CW Hill Country Ranch Wedding Venue located on the outskirts of Boerne which is just my neck of the woods. It never fails, every time I'm there (or making the drive that direction) I am totally blown away by the beauty that is the Texas Hill Country so it was no shock to me when Haley told me this was the venue they'd chosen to celebrate their wedding day. (If you haven't checked out CW Hill Country Ranch, please do. Not only is it beautiful but Kristine & Dennis are such wonderful people!)
Their wedding colors were a beautiful variety of blues and purples with hints of blush tones. Literally every color I point at and think oh that's my favorite! Their florals and decor were provided by The Elegant Bee. It was my first time working with them but I sure hope it's not the last! Their floral arrangements were hard to walk away from because I just wanted to keep on photographing them. Every bit of decor fit the Gittinger's personalities and the overall aesthetic of their wedding day. I had to pull myself away from the details when it came to shooting them.
Haley shared a first look with her bridesmaids as well as her father (cue all the emotions when you see the images below because holy wow) and their ceremony (even with a hiccup or two) was beautiful. I don't think there was a single person there not smiling from ear to ear the entire time, including myself. You could feel the love surrounding them, for each other and from everyone that was there to celebrate their union.
And now onto the bridal party because this group of individuals deserve recognition for being such fantastic and well dressed people. They had me constantly laughing and smiling and I felt like I was a part of their group of friends. But seriously, look how well dressed they were (including my faves of the groom.)
